As the founder of Fong Concepts Interior Design, Mimi has over 18 years of experience in interior design. Well-versed in the principles of interior design, she brings an experienced eye to every step of the process, from concept to reality. Mimi’s commitment to bringing her clients’ visions to life makes a lasting impact, while her attention to detail stands out as a defining characteristic of her work.

Drawing on her years working at the leading global design and architecture firms, Mimi brings a highly-knowledgeable, forward-thinking approach to her work. Mimi’s uncompromising dedication to her clients has earned her a reputation for success through even the most intensely complex projects.

Born in Shanghai, China, Mimi moved to Houston, Texas, at a young age. She received her Bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in interior design from Texas Tech University, which then led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design. She is NCIDQ certified and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

As a mom of two children, Mimi enjoys spending time with her family in her downtime. She enjoys relaxing at the beach, playing with puzzles, and finding inspiration everywhere in the world surrounding her.
